It's not just one, I've seen so many good stories that aren't being updated for years.
I will kill the author (on Webnovel) would be a good example. It stopped updating 2 years ago while the author's last activity on his Webnovel account was 7 months ago, so the reason they stopped updating wasn't cuz they died.
