Y'know, it's more time travel than isekai, but the music video for First World Problems by MC Frontalot feels pretty close to how this would go. Dude goes back in time to caveman era to show off modern tech and all they do is smash it to pieces.

I know. I always had this thought. What if I went back in time with a tank? Would they consider me a goddess? Or would they simply try to destroy the tank and take it for themselves? Like imagine you brought an M1 Abrams back in time to the ancient Egyptians.

Even if you did, I don't think it would last very long unless you set up some kind of timestream supply line for fuel, at least until you can teach them to drill for oil and refine it.

What about isekai to a futuristic world?

All you need to do is get isekai'd into a 9-5 office job in a world that's almost exactly like ours. There's your realistic isekai.

I think if you wanted to be some isekai mastermind, you would need to bring with you a ton of books or something. And somehow, you would need to survive deadly diseases and animals.
