You look around the classroom and see the sheep doing random BS that the paper is talking about and only a few are in the know. This is how you learned that people are not good at following instructions.

Had that several times, actually. Didn't trick me the first time, and any time after that I recognized it and just skipped to the end to see if it said not to do anything.
