It kinda boggled my mind to see that some people would view the most obviously correct PR tactic in history and think it's somehow a bad move.

Like, is there really value in being the vtubing company that didn't fold to pressure and decided to keep a potentially controversial comedic reference to a recent real-life tragedy in one of their talent's music videos? Is that a hill anyone wants to die on? :blob_unsure:

The Challenger disaster was pretty recent, and it's a bit off-color at the same time for it to be referenced as a one-off gag in a music video for a cute anime girl idol company. Like, when I'm watching my sanitized corpo vtubers, I'm not expecting to see an event like that being made light of. Even if one isn't personally offended, it is an all-around bad idea :blob_hmm:

So i had a look at the current released version of the offending song and it still has a sinking titanic in it, but its just a picture in the background with no reference to the song.
