I was already on windows 11, I'm too far gone.

I'm still not understanding the significance of Windows 10 dying or whatever.
Am I missing something? I still use 10 and have no intentions of spending nearly 100 bucks to get 11. So what am I missing? I've seen others flipping out. What's the deal?
