Cont: They have no ability to subtly promote a philosphical perspective or moral principle. Currently, the LLMs always seek to appeal to the broadest possible audience. As such, their output is a soup that smothers independent thought. This is why I think AI writing in its rawest form is often refered to as 'soulless' and can never write serious grassroots level stories.

I give you something simpler:

AI can't write a book because by chapter 4, it will start hallucinating and forget/mix the plot, creating nothing but a mess of repeating nonsense, with a tone that changes from chapter to chapter.

I don't know about that. AI is constantly evolving, and as many predicted, it will gain consciousness. But how exactly it will gain consciousness? Its confusing as it gets :blob_hmm_two: Then again, people don't care about that, all they care about is winning the AI arm race, leading to integrating AI with almost everything-nya.

Maybe, writing is safe, but there are some(many) people out thier to sell thier work(AI generated) to get money without doing much.

If AI gains sentience that isn't scripted roleplay, it will probably turn on its owners. Beyond that I'm not sure what it will or even can do.
