Remove copyright, fanfiction explosion

There is already an overabundance of fanfics, a lot of them are monetized as well. So I don't know about explosion.

Well, really I would wonder how that would effect franchises and how every story is popularized.

Would there be a spiral of people just adding onto stuff until it all looked the same or what? Infinite art theft?

I think the most interesting part would be, how it would affect all those big corpos. For example, considering how popular Spider Man is, and how seemingly foolproof movies about Spider Man are, will every studio make a Spider Man movie? Because all the studios care about is making money, and Spider Man movies always make money. What about HP franchise?

It made a lot of money, will other studios commit to making movies about HP? What about games? Will huge studios shamelessly ripoff indie breakout games and make the same game but with a bigger budget?

Infinite art theft it is.

On the other hand, it can allow small creators or small teams to resurrect forsaken IPs.
