I would imagine this is because they started making brightly colored cars cost more. I tried to buy an old Toyota when I was teen at this used dealership. Oddly enough, they had the same truck, same year and model and everything, but in 4 different colors. Dark blue, gray, yellow, and red. Weird, I know.
