Hate the ones who deserve the hate.

How about the one who made the game? They hate-free?

It really depends on their character. It would be prudent to recognize where the game stops and the creator begins, and start from there. I don't mind creators who push agendas in their games, but when it's just agenda and no games, that's when you might want to take a look at them.

You should only hate people that says, "hate the game, not the player.", unironically

Also criticize the game and the creator separately in that case.
