That is indeed how time works
CadmarLegend
CadmarLegend
It is not!

Then how does time work?
CadmarLegend
CadmarLegend
Because we think about it. If we didn't, there would be no "time". We named "something".....

We made language. Does that mean it doesn’t exist. Just because we made it up doesn’t mean it’s nonexistent.

Time is a unique concept. We cannot see it. Therefore, unless named, it would not be there.

Sound, and therefore spoken language, is a unique concept. We cannot see it.

Things have to exist before you name them

Sound, we can see because of radars and how they affect things, such as a sonic boom. Spoken language has letters, which are written down. Proof. But time?

We can only see sound because of tools, we cannot see it directly. We can see time through a clock, a tool, even if we can't see it directly. If language is written down, then it is no longer spoken.

Also stuff aging is proof of time, no?
CadmarLegend

Spoken language can be heard, too. That leaves it in history. Sound can be "seen" directly using tools. Clocks move on an arranged pattern. We can see the "clocks" tick and tock, but not "time".

Aging is just things "decaying". Their bodily functions deteriorating.

The point is that time exists, even if only because we made it exist.

Yes. My point proven. There was no "time" before naming. It was just "something".

Even if it was only "something" it was still around.
CadmarLegend
CadmarLegend
But it wasn't "time".
