A bit sad that when the CN intro-ed MC as an NPC of a world that is getting invaded by Players (they can respawn by soul possessing other NPCs), I thought the big showdown is a Star Ocean 3 plot.
I like how MC called out the supposed hero's BS of sacrificing thousands of innocents in order to save the future millions (hero is tributing them to a higher being for more power).
Here's my two cents, is there no criminal for the sacrifice?
Also, why is it only the poor peasants getting slaughtered in bulk while anyone who is rich enough to buy themselves out gets to run out of the tribute circle scotfree?
