4 days till my vacation. Cant wait, I haven't had a full day off outside of holidays in over a year.
Made my two coworkers happy, gave them nice pens. Mainly because I was tired of trying to find a working pen at the counter every morning but hey, who doesn't like a nice pen?
Great. This story now has 2 more types of worms. Beginning to suspect the author really, really likes worms.
I really love the concept of this novel. The character solved a complicated rubix cube so she has a space based on the rubix cube with individual cube sections. The rubix cube increases in difficulty each time she solves it, which in turn will increase the cubes in her space. I just wish they wouldn't describe what it's like to eat worms and worm eggs.
You know. There's failing at life and then there's "accidentally inhaling a small piece of bread and spiraling into a choking fit and thinking this is how you'll die" failing at life. So yeah... how's everyone else's morning/day going?
This story is really fond of worms or worm-like bugs. I've also realized that it was a really bad idea to start reading a story that contains mentions of different worm-like bugs before bed.

Well... one of my mollies was apparently pregnant so I now have baby mollies on my aquarium. I feel like an irresponsible pet owner.
I finally broke down and bought carving supplies. Will I actually be able to do it or is this another old hobby I suck at now. Who knows, but at least it'll keep my hands busy when I can't think of anything to do.

The main character just received a task in this story to gather/rescue 10,000 people to live in her shelter. Her first reaction was "How? Kidnapping?" This is definitely my new favorite apocalypse system story.
