The westernmost point of Indonesia is pretty big.

Indonesia also spans between:
1. Northern Ireland and Kazakhstan
2. The entire continental United States (minus Alaska)
3. The Northern Atlantic ocean (at points)

Google tells me it's 5120km from east point to west point, so I can believe what's been posted so far.

Russia is 9,000 kilometers from east to west.
Canada is 5,500 kilometers from east to west.
Chile is 4,300 kilometers from north to south.
