Writing is personal so it’s completely valid to feel angry and upset when something you’ve poured your heart, soul, and time into is met with hateful comments. Unfortunately, that’s often a side effect of popularity or reaching a significant readership.

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever come across a creative work that’s unanimously liked by everyone. If that ever happens then not enough people are reading it yet.

That's so true. I guessed, I am just bummed out and needed a place to vent. Sometimes, I feel harassed. I don't even know if I was imagining it, but there's a trend of 'new accounts' spawning just to spread the hate. Sometimes, I am so tempted to delete the comments, but my pride stops me from doing just that.

Thanks a lot, your words helped heal the ache. Sympathies to fellow victims of internet hate.

:meowsip:Delete them if you can~. Do not engage them~. Debating on the internet is a fruitless affair, as nobody wants to discuss. You will never convince anyone.

I got reviewer to admit in PM that they were wrong about certain points lore when it came to my fanfic, yet they never bothered changing their scathing reviews.
