And US lobbyist politics is not.

Brother @Corty I'm intimately aware of the Shitshow of US politics, I however knew basically nothing of EU politics. They apparently unpersoned someone, no banks, no passport not entering ir leaving the nation they're in. They destroyed his ability to exist, because he spoke against German involvement in Ukraine.

Germany is not the whole EU. First issue you ran into here. What Westies and their dictatorships do is not a blanket truth for the whole EU.

Dude can you please say more than someone apparently being unpersoned with the little context, especially about a topic where similar propanda common is. If you want to talk about nations try to do it please properly. Just for context I am german.

Germans don't have free speech.

Insulting others is not needed for free speech.

Your response speaks for itself.

@Corty That was what we call an example. Probably should make it clear that Brussels and the EU parliament are responsible.
Hüseyin Dogru is who I referred to. @RepresentingDesire your country is losing its shit and going full authoritarian... again

Does free speech truly exist anywhere? :blob_hmm:

Scribblehub doesn't have free speech either.
ShrimpShady

Scribblehub isn't a government so it isn't its job to ensure that right :blob_hmm:

Unless Tony wants to found a micronation or something

I looked up his name and what he is associated with and why the sanctions. Good.

I take back everything. Finally Brussels and Germany did something good.

Free speech does not mean free of consequences. Get rekt.
Rezcore

No. It genuinely does. Otherwise it's not free. He was accused of being part of a heinous group, but then that group is also maligned as evil, by the government it opposes.

Don't finance, from Turkey, German university boycotts and vandalism.

Not that hard. That is not free speech anymore.
Rezcore
Rezcore
Meh. Vandalism is a crime. And this is true. But completely unpersoning someone is a disgusting reaction. I say if you support something, go there and do it
ShrimpShady

I agree. It seems to me more like journalists being punished for doing journalism on a thing the powers at be don't approve of :blob_hmm:

Wait you think that there shouldn't be consequences for what one says? Would you still say the same if I slander you and send you death threats, because I am just using my right of consequence free speech. But I do agree free speech could only exist without consequences, which is the reason I say it can not exist and we talk here only about the free speech we consider reasonable.

I was thinking about policing online and arresting people for posting memes. Thats how far I've seen germany go.
