  • I never realized that VP 2 has a clever way to warn you through its intense confrontation. During a boss fight for instance. Silmeria speaks in a way that fits the scene, but warns you by saying.

    “Do not fall.”

Indicating that you can be banished if your character falls off the cliff. This is very early into the game. You shouldn’t encounter banish until mid game or so.

The ultimate skills in the game though. Like Nibelung Valesti and Blinding Blaze.

They gain immense damage boosts per upgraded version. Nibelung Valesti II gains quite a bit extra damage to the spear binding phase, then triple damage to the last throw. I think a bit more.

Blinding Blaze II gains double, then triple damage to the last phase.

Nibelung Valesti III, for the final phase. It is triple, and then quadruple if I remember right. It makes it able for you to break into a billion damage with a low HP setup + Soul Crush Chain as the last.

It inherently has a higher damage output.

There were also little details. Such as Nibelung Valesti II. Alicia uses Silmeria’s sword, it is small, but massive character development.
Okay. So Claude released Opus, which is supposed to be better. So, I decided to test it with a simple thing. And somehow, it resorted to nihilism, when the passage was the exact opposite with clear dialogue.

This Ai has become so bad. It used to tackle these sort of things pretty easily. Now it is like it has a seizure every time it engages with it. :blob_neutral:
Ah yes, VP 2. You do pitiful damage for a long ass time. Makes it hard to believe that you can hit for half a million to a million+ end game.

the good ol 3 to 17 damage for a while.

Even with a better weapon, if it does not have access to use your special. It ain’t worth using. The special damage output makes up for the loss in attack power.

Special chain is also a reason. Further down the line it is used, the stronger it becomes. Dramatically outperforming stronger weapons without the option for special usage.
Valkyrie Profile 2 had a great system, but also a terrible thing as a result. In order to quickly master skills in the game. The lower the level of your party versus the enemy translates to higher points gained.

So, to best use it. You have to keep 3 low level characters knocked out at all times. It meant for efficiently playing the game. You can never use an inn.

As for the training part. Can just bench the knocked out characters, and use the main team for the important stuff. When you need to train, switch in the three knocked out ones plus the character you want to raise.

In a few battles, they’ll master tons of skills.

If you have to use an Inn, then I’d recommend getting the three knocked out immediately afterwards.
So, you lot know about the update to the Ubisoft terms?

A clause that requires people to uninstall and destroy all copies of a game if Ubisoft or its licensors terminate access to it. :meowsip:

If you have a disc of The Crew you are required by TOS to smash it with a hammer and then burn it until it is in an unuseable state. Do not simply throw it out, this is a violation of law. Remember, plebs own nothing and they like it that way.

We can negotiate. Wonder if they like beef for their games. :blob_hmm: :blob_evil_two: :meowsip:

Nintendo is raising the price of the switch 1 in Canada, which means the price on the U.S is likely to go up to soon.

The U.S and Canada has some kind of habit of being close by to one another when something happens.

So yeah, on top of that. It looks like they are raising the price of a lot of other stuff as well.
Patreon did two things. One that is very beneficial. One that is, eh. If you can pump out 2000 parts a week it can work.

    1. You can now make your paid thumbnail viewable by all. It is just that non paying peeps cannot enter it.

    2. You can now apparently sell things as a one time purchase.

Not sure if these were bugged or not, but the tutorial just popped up in my face about it.

Seen the pay for part done on sites like Yoru Stories. I can only imagine how much you have to push out just to make it work.

I wonder if people will still buy it.

Good question. The math doesn’t check out due to the higher barrier. Even if you sell at $1 a part.

That’s $600 per person, if the story is like 600 parts. You might be able to get a higher pay out initially.

However, the total cost is something not many can justify. Even then, that would be 600 parts down the drain.
Been wondering, but where should I put disclaimers on Patreon?

There is one story, that definitely will need that with its graphic violence. :blob_blank:

It neither glorifies nor justifies it, but it is a very tragic story. Anyway, I decided I would put this on the About page.

Though, I suppose later on I might put it on the tier for extra precaution.

Alright, I’ll be sure to do that. Should I put a disclaimer, since in chapter 2 of this book I am working one.

Peeps literally get boomeranged by an axe for lack of a better term. :blob_hmm:
Funny thing. I decided to post a piece of my story to an AI Claude. To see for some stuff.

It mentioned something about the dialogues. So, I asked what was wrong with it.

And Claude immediately couldn’t find anything wrong, and admitted it made a mistake.

    Me,

“Yeah, that’s what I thought.” :meowsip:
