Parents died, couldn’t trust the system. Worked hard to try and keep Lilo with her. Even with the college thing, could have done it at home for the Marine Biology. It makes no sense.

It is like, wasn’t the point of the original ending. That Nani was no longer alone in raising Lilo? That they were an unconventional family, but one nonetheless?

yes, I suspect the creators of this movie didn't care or didn't watch the original as they've gutted and pissed over the legacy of the original movie.

they made stitch more docile and pug like, they made jumba into more of a villain, took out the actual antagonist who was trying to separate their family, took out the alien disguises...the producers should pray I never find them
