Talked with my brother about that locked room, his solution was that the detective was the person in the locked room, and that the detective/narrator is unreliable. I think that also fits, but I think the thermite solution is a closer fit. However my brother’s guess does fit with the fact that the ‘detective’ had to relinquish their authority, to set a perfect seal in the room. Hard to explain without spoilers.
Trying to come up with a solution to the ch 6 locked room puzzle. Don’t know if this will be the solution, but the only possible way for the person in question to escape the room is through the pipes in the bathroom. My theory is that the person was lit ablaze with a thermite reaction, and washed away with the shower that was shown to be on. Probably wrong, it took a few eyebrow raising searches, but this works, no…?
My body is being consumed by dread, for stuff I need to do tomorrow. That being walking to the bank and sending an email. My body hurts from the shaking, I hate anxiety.

This may change when the mystery is revealed, but imo, Umineko would be 2x better with less witch space scenes, or at the very least less ‘summoned’ characters. Of the 21+ characters there, at least 15 of them have little to no importance to the story. I understand that this is showing why and how the story on the board works, and is creating a story in itself, but I find it all to be more boring than the other parts

Funny that it is typically only the horizontal scars that ache and not the vertical ones. However when the vertical ones do ache they feel like death.
