Was it intentional to walk without the shoes?

You didn't injure your feet, did you?

I didn’t injure my feet. I am allergic to grass, and dead grass is even worse. I probably should have turned back to slip on some socks or shoes, but mom came home with supper after having to work 2 hrs away during her weekend and I didn’t want to let her wait… still probably should have slipped on shoes when I saw the mowed grass on the sidewalk.

Wahhh...I hope the reaction you got from it can be mitigated/removed soon, then.
Have you taken medication for it?
Did you need to wash your feet first?

I rinsed ‘em off immediately after getting inside. Any medicine will take 20-30 minutes to take affect. It is fairly mild, but has migrated to the rest of my body since the last message.…

Maybe take a full blown shower at that point?

My skin is already sensitive from taking a 2hr bath yesterday. The source of the itchiness has been removed, just waiting for the reaction to calm/subside. It is like taking an antidote to a poison, the antidote stops more damage from happening but doesn’t fix the damage that has already happened. Just waiting for my meds to kick in. Thank you for the suggestion nonetheless!
