That's how I felt about manga when I finished 20th Century Boys and the epilogue, 21st Century Boys.

@RepresentingWrath It's hard to think of another anime that had as strong an impact on the internet culture of its era.

@Blue.Moon I seriously gotta read the manga, but I'm scared it'll ruin every other manga for me.

How do you define impact? I feel like Naruto and Dragon Ball made more of an impact, but I might confuse it with popularity. Also, fun fact, here Tokyo Ghoul is an anime that made the biggest cultural impact.

@RepresentingWrath I mostly mean how the show injects itself into the way people communicate and interact on the internet. Like Gurren Lagann had an insane amount of memes and it was extremely quotable.

The Tokyo Ghoul thing is kinda crazy. I imagine random people just walking around in their Kaneki masks cracking their knuckles.

Tokyo Ghoul spawned a whole new subculture here; it's to the point people refer to those young'uns with 'ghouls'.
