Proper format and grammar usually do the trick.
You can have a magnum opus, the best story in the world, but if it is unreadable, no one will even try to read it.
There is no easy solution for this. Well, maybe a known author praising your story, but if people are struggling to go past the first chapter then it will badly reflect on said author, but even so - that would only increase people looking at the novel, not neccesdairly reading it.
You need to have readable text (formatting, grammar, proper dialogue) and a decent story that will hook the reader. And that can be done only with your hands, but probably not within an hour if you don't have anything else.
