To quote the great Digibro who has now become an irrelevant lolcow, A1 Pictures were the McDonald's of anime. The studio released more shows than anyone else, and they all felt like they were cobbled together with no real sense of identity.
I guess so. Throw a bunch of darts and something's bound to hit.
My issue with them back in the 2010s was that even if they were adapting decent stories, which they sometimes did, the final product still often felt weirdly cheap and assembly line. Like shitty CGI out of nowhere, weird bits of sakuga that were as jarring as they were technically impressive, and don't even get me started on the A1 Pictures face.
@RepresentingWrath I can't tell which part you're referring to, but I'll take a wild guess and answer that A1 Pictures is an anime studio responsible for popular shows such as Sword Art Online and that Solo Leveling thing people are talking about.
They're known for pumping out show after show after show, with wildly varying levels of quality. For every Erased, you get 5 or so Eromanga Senseis.
