I didn't rent a video from Blockbuster because there was no such thing as blockbuster. We did rent a movie on a VHS tape though. No one used cheques here. At least no one on the same level of income as us. Everybody used cash. Didn't do fax, I can argue it was too expensive and barely anyone used it. Didn't send postcard or used typewriter.

Also, the last time I didn't mention it, but now I'm going to say this. What the hell do they imply with 'owned'? We still have a bunch of dictionaries and encyclopedias.

@SailusGebel I think every Russian has at least five dictionaries in their house, even if they don't know about it.

New-age families only collect books for show, probably keeping them in their shrinkwrapping until realizing its glint on their Instagram photos.

@SailusGebel I own like 7 dictionaries at least including one that if I recall correctly is about 106 years old… my dad reads that one all the time-nya.

I got 9. I used to flip through those phonebooks a lot back then--

we used to look up phone numbers from the public booths' phonebooks and prank-call them with the quarters we stole from them.

We used to tear phone book pages and use it for wrapping smoked fish (tinapa).

The dam typewriter is keeping me from a perfect 0

Go use one right now.

tbh now that i think about it, there is a high chance that ive played around with one as a kid but not done anything serious with it.
