If you are still interested you should play/watch a playthrough of the VN, keep in mind you will probably need to install a fan patch because a few things, mostly gore, was censored in the English release including the removal of an ending.

It isn’t impossible to pull off, see Steins;Gate, but you are removing a lot of context so you have to pick and choose if you want to tell a comprehendible story.

Robotics;Notes VN is up there pretty much tied with Steins;Gate, imo. Never watched the Chaos;Child, Occultic;Nine, or Robotics;Notes anime though.
