Glasses on the other hand only need to be cleaned occasionally and might need to be removed if they could fall off in a task, such as sleeping, sports, or exercise.
The only potential argument against glasses is that they might be more expensive than the contact, but even then that is only in the short term. Keeping a pair of glasses for even half a year would be cheaper.
I don't use them, my sister uses both glasses and contacts. She says there are uses for both. The most simple example that I can mention, contacts don't fog up.
Unless you are an athlete, or have a job that might risk your glasses I don’t really see a reason for contacts. As for fogging, you can use a spray to prevent most of it. Glasses only fog if they are warmer than the surroundings and if the surroundings are humid. Both of which you can easily tell, spray your glasses and wipe em down.
Contacts technically fog up too, but that fog is removed by blinking, unless you put them on improperly and it is fogging on the inside. On the other hand they risk permanently damaging your eye if you are careless when putting them on, such as not washing your hands before installing or properly sanitizing them. If you aren’t doing specific things that require them then they are just an expensive risk to your eyes.
Yes, she does everything. She wears glasses at home, contacts whenever she goes to work, usually contacts when she goes out. It is more convenient for her.
Asked my sister again. Apart from obvious pros of contacts(for example you can't break them if you slip), she has better peripheral vision with contacts. So she is much more comfortable outside with contacts. Yes, she wears them approprietly, the way you should wear contacs. Yes, her eyes get tired of contacts. That's what I've said before, contacts and glassess have pros and cons.
