And the plot thickens.

An hour later and it is revealed that she was the dead friend.

The MC and FMC got into a big fight, the MC said something akin to “If you couldn’t trust me with your real name, why should I trust you when you say we are family. The FMC then ran off to their childhood home, that was repossessed because their adoptive father died in debt.
