heck. suddenly i remembered the giga nonsense anime adaptation "Black rock shooter"

Heck they tried to go full dark edgy emo stuff (the painting thing was looneytoons scarring stuff lvl)
when they could have simply hired a 9y/o to direct it and go "girl go boom, enter another dimension and kill stuff, win, and come back, yeeeeeee!"

I mean SciADV isn’t adverse to being dark, but there is a difference between being dark and being edgy, and there is a difference between being edgy and trying so hard to be so that you are goofy. Think Steins; Gate where it was slightly edgy after the twist, but not goofy like that.

Notice: This is an insult to all edge lords nya.

In fact its badass/edgy, bc IT MAKE SENSE.

Agreed, there are times when edge can enhance a scene and ones where it looks like the guy is unintentionally posing for a selfie next to a dismembered body while trying to look threatening with a knife.

I am forgetting the title but the edgiest thing I red was that one manhwa or WebComic, can’t remember which, where the MC is kidnapped by a Yandere guy and gets Stockholm Syndrome

Oh, and there is a bully, the evil kind that takes money, bodydmg, and even want to kill others
and somehow this dude isnt killed by MC. And is staying around the main cast.
Author trying to do (worse) bakugou trope where there is this arrogant asshole staying around and insulting MC despite getting his ass kicked.

I kinda watched a abridged youtube series of it.
But yeah, its kinda shit.
I guess people like it, solely bc of the waifu/heroine.

Like FRANXX sole popularity was the nudity in episode1.
(oh and lack of anything else to watch, like always)
