Started properly writing again on the 16th, and so done an okay job so far. Still feel a little rusty even though it has only been a short time...

I'm not going to try and replicate last months writing pace immediately, I'll save that effort for a future month.

Well, only written about 1000 words this month. Which umm, to be expected when played games or worked pretty much the entire time. But yeah, feeling the very rough transition of trying to start writing frequently again.

Its been a few days but I lost another family member. And as the pattern would suggest, it was a closer person to my heart. My grandfather, I-Fuck, argh. These last few days have been painful. I have managed to distract myself in a few ways, and deal with the grief in a few others, but I simply saw his picture and I was already tearing up again.

It is now officially two years since I started posting.

I could likely write a lot more, but that requires more word space.

Been trying to improve my writing speed, and honestly, been doing pretty well. I know it has increased a lot over the last two years. Year one I doubt my average was even over 1.5k a week, year 2 apparently it was 4k, but for this year so far I have been averaging around 5k. So that feels good.

As I near the two year milestone... it feels a lot...
The first year milestone didn't carry this much weight? Not sure if that is the right word.
Either way, reaching two years feels crazier to me than the first.

Did the math based on the prior numbers, I wrote an average of 4000 words a week last year.... that just feels crazy. I remember so many weeks where I barely reached 2k, I even took multiple weeks off for sickness and other reasons... where did I pull all those extra words from...

New year, new writing goals.
These might not be accurate but I wrote about:

Triffic: 126,689
Goal is to do better this year. Also just write better this year. There were some ups and definitely downs in some of the arcs I wrote this year, so yeah, let's do better this year!
Got some new projects I want to start, so got to figure out how to push them into the schedule.

Well, after being stuck for 4 weeks, and having a little bit of trouble for another week. I finally had a writing high! Got a chapter done a day for a whole week! First time I've done that without pause!

Always good fun when after writing for a decent period of time, you think good progress has been made, then you check the word count and it's only 100~200 words has been done.
