It is probably because you judge yourself less while writing when impaired. So you can get a paragraph down without having to stop and make sure it makes sense. It’s that reason as for why I tend to write when I am quite tired.

I do the opposite usually since I often drink a triple shot expresso... Has the same effect... at least for me~

Caffine gives me headaches, and I crash quite hard after it wears off.

Don’t know about alcohol, haven’t had any before.
