Speaking of Amnesia. Despite how quirky the Neptunia series is. I remember the first game, it answers why Neptune never got her memories back.

And that is because, she chose to not recover them. Given that she and the rest of the goddesses are supposed to be enemies.

She feared recovering them might make her act on that programming. So yes, she would never be the same again.

However, it was fine, since she’d rather not have them than risk becoming enemies with her friends.
