I read a story where every, and I mean every, character introduced who wasn’t the MC was introduced through a face slapping scene. I got through 800-1200, the chapters blended together, because the world building and magic system were cool.

I clicked the link and read the synopsis, and they censored the 'or' in 'thorny' on the page.

I remember this one, it's one of those IQ-Lowering Aura MC. I dropped early on, did it get good later on?

No, it didn’t get better, it just had good world building imo.
