@beast_regards Feed AI with knowledge and let them analyse so that researchers can save time. They can help in so many menial tasks but also help with complex mathematical problems. AI could be such a create help as med assistant.

I STILL WISH TO HAVE MY OWN JARVIS. A houserobot that can tidy up my room.

I am afraid, AI couldn't do it. At least, one which the corporation market as AI couldn't do it. Only thing it excels at is stealing artwork because it has the best chance to provide at least nice picture based on the probability alone, provided it is fed nice pictures which need to be sorted manually by humans.

Why? Cuz profit.

Also, I believe companies who do research probably have some form of AI already, just that they will not hand it to the public for reasons such as "trade secret"

obviously for profit, but shitty governments don’t need to make bills for those corporations

@beast_regards they can definitely fill in the gap of administration work in hospitals or businesses though. Frustrating how the customer service bots can’t help me.

Personally I think their purpose is not to help you but rather to help eliminate the need of spending human resources on customer cases.

The fact that the bots are great at angering the customers until they leave is also a method to not having to deal with your problem.

@tiaf This is not how it works. AI doesn't know what it is doing. If it run a hospital, they would assume that the people with running nose have broken legs because this is what the emergency treated last time, and probably broke your leg. AI is not intelligent, it is idiotic. It doesn't understand meaning. Only thing it is good at is pictures because it doesn't have to discern meaning.
