I think it's a common thing. You cut your finger or hand when cooking and it's okay. You pull on a hangnail and it will put on the floor.

I don't know how it was for you, but when I hit a table corner with my forehead and damn near died (I still have a scar), I didn't feel any pain at all. Shock, adrenaline, and confusion can make what should be immense pain barely noticeable.

Interesting! Also the mention of hang nails gave me flashbacks.

@LilRora One time I was playing on a old and rusty jungle gym and accidently lost control and full power whipped my forehead strait into a large piece of rusty metal... it was a really bloody affair I think I completely filled 3 bath towels with blood... But it didn't really hurt me that bad the only reason I went to the hospital is because I was forced to,

I was only confused at the fact I had to go the the hospital from what I remember I was really annoyed about that because I hate going to the doctor so I never go unless I am actively forced to by family or friends.
