From your experience, how often do CN authors basically write the same story when they start a 'new' one? Do you prefer it when they do it, or when they write an actual new story?
1. For "new" writers that has their previous work being successful, they tend to stick back to the same opening or at the very least, keep it similar enough to draw back the same crowd that boost their book up the chart.
2. The opening is important to me, because it is the hook that draws me in. I am a sucker for the same opening; MC being weak and bullied etc. So I prefer such opening than other types.
