Still I'm not really angry. Just hurt, but not much.

I mean, I'm aware my artwork is 'retro' and from '90s,' but it's not like I can do much about it. Well, any case, Imma stop taking free requests; paper and pencils aren't free, and it's not cheap, either. And I'm not the 'digital artist' that uses pen tablets even in lineart.

It doesn't matter what kind of art you do. If they don't like it, they shouldn't ask for it for free.

You should absolutely charge for your art. It's too good to be given away.

You should send stickman drawings to those who ask for free art.

Thanks for encouragement peeps! Well, I do free requests whenever I got time, since I love giving back to the community I belong.

But I was hurt when a close friend did that.

Not that I don't understand peeps can choose how to spend their money. Still, it feels like I was slapped, especially when I am in dire financial situation.

Also, @Sleds there are peeps who often label my work as 'retro', or '90s'/old school.

Ah, any case, this will come to pass. I think I'm being sensitive about it, and unreasonable.

Still, a lesson is a lesson. I'll stop taking free requests.

There are two different attitudes towards "free stuff":
#1 It's free, so I will take as much as I can get. I demand my free stuff!
#2 Thanks mate, that helped me out. I will pay you back when I can.

One of my neighbors, let's call him gudmanoff, was out of work for three months last year. Gudmanoff lacked money, so I invited him over to share a meal when I could. I had a decent job at the time.
