My first impression of the word:
'day camp' --> 'concentration camp for spoiled brats'

Well, it WAS something like this

Oh god. I know a camp guide. When she works, she's always exhausted, sleeps for 2 hours a day and has to look over 30 children at all time. Russian summer camps are built different.

My friend's mom is a scout instructor. She is also a teacher at a boys' high school. She has it tough.

Those day camps are for the weak kids, me and my friends have graduated from a 'bootcamp'.

We attended the camp just because we have marks based on that

If it's okay to ask, what did you do at the day camp?

We first assembled in the school field. We attended some sessions held in the auditorium after that. Then, we went back to the field and we put up some tents and decorated them. Then, some cultural events were held. We were given girls' guide badges. It ended
