I did, wrote all the things that the ai might need and the demon king still killed the wrong guy.

Also to be honest, even humans, smart ones, can be clueless with JUST 2 PEOPLE TALKING, bc some authors give 0, niet nothing, of an indicator of who talk where.

After 5 lines, it become confusing if the characters are similar. OR pull out sentences the other could say.

PS : Worse of all, is the moron authors that make the character speak but occupy 2 LINES. (looking like its other speaking but still same person)

Then its a question of quality of the AI.

I've seen that. To indicate that the character is still speaking, you need to leave the "" open in the end.
Like this:
"Blablablablabla
"Blablabla! Bla! Baal!"

X "Blablablabla"
Y "Ba"
"blablabla"

"herhiorjehpjrze"
