I can aim an ak74 decently well at 50m range on a stationary target

I use AR15 over AK's these days.
I personally prefer the 7.62 rounds of the 47 to the 74.

7.62 hits harder, but it has more dispersion. Point accuracy is a bit less than 5.56 at the same range. Though it's really not that much. I believe an AK has a point accuracy of about 500 meters. Where an m4 would be like 550.

A Google search and the AK is way more dispersion than I thought. It has a point target accuracy of 300 meters.

Even the ak12 is only 440 meters

If I wanted to shoot more than 300 meters I'd get a BMG 50 cal.
