Hmmm... You could start with The Witcher 3. There are a lot of games in the PS4 which was made during the years. However, you could also start with Metal Gear V or... Assassin's creed.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has a great story... I am also obligated to recommend Terraria because I have been a loyal player for the last 11 years. 
There is also Cyberpunk 2077, Spiritfarer, Stardew Valley, Far Cry 5, Far Cry Primal, Grounded, Slime Rancher, Watch Dogs 2 and Maneater are some games I can recommend that I personally 100s if not 1000s of hour played in... Terraria alone I have like 7000 hours!
