The guy disserved it to be fair... And that's the most normal of the stories! At least I know were all my crazy comes from...

On the other hand my Great great grandpa was a former member of the Italian mafia from my dad's side. So some of my crazy might come from him too. (Sorry about the rant I just wanted to vent)

Wild.

Same vibe with Asian parents/grandparents telling their younger days' experiences. Some are exaggerated, but forged stories. Others are wild, bizarre but real thing happened.

-"I went to school and encountered a croc on the way. I of course beat em since I didn't want to miss school!

-I went to school one day, and the roads' flooded, Knee length. Still made it to school though.

Which one's fake and which one isn't?

What my mom explained was to vivid to fake. I mean these weren't really all that surprising since her side of the family is almost exclusively insane with more mental disorders than you can count on 2 hands... I am no exception after all!

So anything they say could be exaggerated or fact or both at the same time???

The most surprising thing she told me was back in the day her fathers side of the family used own a slave plantation back when that was still legal...
Apparently they were rather rich. In fact if it wasn't for my greedy late aunt my mother would be a multi millionaire

From inheritance and I mean like 20 to 30 million range! I actually think not getting the money was a good thing though I feel like it would have been a poison in the end. That kind of money can be dangerous after all and my mother had a pretty bad meth addiction back then my mother has been clean for 22 years.
