I read most of the Schwarz one now.
It was way shorter than I expected.
I only have one thing to say to you right now.

:blob_aww: You see, I am really successful in reducing my word count. I started with 4k words per chapter, but now I cut down the useless palavering.

:blob_aww: But on a serious note, try it out to only write essential info. Bare-bone writing like Hemingway.

Btw, what did you think about my work?

It was enjoyable. I look forward to more. It was a little confusing when you switched between new aurora and old aurora, then again it's sort of one of my pet peeves when it's ambiguous who is talking. Gah 240 limit.

I'm over here declaring POV every time and trying my damndest to mention who said what with every line. I can't tell if it's because I've been writing and spent hours working on my own typos but they scream out at me when I see them.

As for the only writing essential info, it feels like, to me anyway, it drains all personality out of it. I don't think I could manage it.

I can get way too into things and spend a third of a chapter describing a room. Or.. some such thing.

I can understand you. When I started writing, I was the same. Overly verbose, but now I try to let it flow better. I am not sure if I do a good job, but I give my best to make the read as pleasant as possible.

Long descriptions don't help anyone. Instead, I try to rely on strong evocations. Less is often more.

Oh right, I dozed off last night before finishing, I forgot about this, I really like the arguing and personalities of the elves and human caravan.
