Yeah, I get it. Usually, I write and discover my own world with the readers. Can't plan a story for the life of me.

That simply means you arent this type of writers.
But at same time, there is a certain question : did you do it correctly ? (how to plan it)

I mean, did you plan, detail by detail like a manual writing. (extreme plan)
Or did you "create the frame > fill it" which is basically, half plan, and what did european/poets writers in the past.

I mean.

(totally rando example, that i will invent NOW)

1) Hero, beginning, hm gambler (normal)
2) Mid part, uh.... save the heroine kidnapped
3) Beat dragon with the heroine, which dad sacrificed himself to save both of them in midpart.

Then fill it the blank, from 1->2->3

@Simple_Russian_Boi Same for me! For me, that's where the fun is. Knowing beforehand kills my interest; it's like reading while I write.

@Corty I try to at least write those outlines, even though they’re usually in my head—they come to me before I sleep in bed or when I’m in the shower. I really should write them down. :blob_pat_sad:

I have some great ideas while showering, feeling I will remember them.

Then I don't. :blob_dizzy:

The water steals your ideas! That's why I steal bath water from the famous authors.
