Nationalist philosophy tends to blind its adherents to the abuses and decadence of their cultures, even purposefully burying 'common sense' for the sole purpose of putting their race/culture/nation at the pedestal.

Still, the flaws won't go away. And in the end, the nationalists always get the shock as they watched their supposedly 'great nation' fall into decay.

Ah yes, my point.

My point is: everything that is excessive is bad. Excessive nationalism leads to fascism. Excessive socialism leads to communism. Excessive liberalism leads to decadence. And the excess of those things leads to ruin.

Worse, is that there are famous historical figures that criticized confucianism and stuff.
Analogy : similar to copernic was famous died in the pyre by church

But somehow. SOMEHOW.
Current CCP censor any new novel that criticize confucianism.
And then they blame jp war crimes ?! *spit *

Its like a "divination livestream" novel i once read.
Author kept using very dark real events of people, like giga dark. Even author note saying inspired true ones. (didnt read far)

There is a sentence i liked in it (that only appeared twice in other novels) :

"You say chineses dont like to other chineses ?! BS ! I THINK CHINESES LOVES TO LIE TO OTHERS CNS COMPARED TO OUTSIDERS !" (as its easier)

But seriousness aside, want to joke-rant,

im sad that they banned this 2 novels.

1) Maybe nota rec. "I am ming national teacher"
2) "I write stories to criticize confucianism" faloo. (it had this handsome guy as cover and cant find anymore. worse, other series seems to use the same cover and/or similar titles but reversally praising confuci)

Nationalism comes in two flavors, the want to liberate the nation and the other to put the suffering peoples, of an independent nation, focus on the purity and strength of the nation. The first is usually a positive movement, the second however holds the blood of millions of unjust sacrifices from the past century.

This form of nationalism’s goal is to push the focus of the suffering working masses away from tackling the system, and it’s owners/rulers, that is causing their suffering, so they instead focus their anger on the others who are ruining the ‘purity and strength’ of a nation.

Usually this means punishing or killing ethnic minorities, immigrants, women, union members, communists, trans folk, religious minorities, political opponents, etc. In the end the people‘s power is gradually diminished until the rulers of the nation can regain their power without fear.

And then they blame jp war crimes ?! *spit *

China has every right to condemn the Japanese empire (Which no longer exists)

However, the CCP is really the cause for japan being like it is now. In 1949 the pacification of Japan stopped. Anything that criticized Japan got censored because instead of truth and reconciliation both the US and the new Japanese regime saw this as a great way for communism to take hold in Japan.

I liked that while I was away, a tame discussion about nationalism is in my pf, contributing to the notif.

My takeaway in all these is always the same; humans bad and should never be in power position too long because desensitization.

Do I have a solution for it? Not really, because I will advise to have the entire party executed once their term has ended in order to prevent corruption, as corruption is about when not if.

Can't help it. Humans are flawed creatures. Everything we touch deteriorates over time without timely reforms.
