I was expecting Arise's style when I saw Tales

The purist gamers of TALES OF
will know that the IP
was basically this style at the beginning.

In fact, in the past, very young, i played the very first one, on emulator.

Movies were good

Witch, good stories, blonde girl, NORMAL NUN HEALER, village destroyed GOOD OLD TROPE, VILLAIN BEING VILLAIN,
and time travel BADASS PLOT

basically was a villain WITH LOGICAL GOOD CAUSE BUT STILL REASONABLY VILLAINOUS.

He brought his army to destroy the city bc of the OVER USAGE of MANA. (Famous mage city)

And
the mages ofc,
to resist, used this prototype giant cannon to defend themselves.
Despite never being tested and 3/4 completed.

And the GOOD ENJOYABLE/DISLIKEABLE jp trope : The arrogant commander rush to ask to shoot again (only for it to fking explode )
