It guess its what people/charac felt when "having a big backer behind them". A big sense of recomfort.
Feeling as if you are not alone and exuding trust to them that is reciprocated.

Like the trope of believing the best friend (but still subconscious fear) in pure black darkness, but after hearing something, the trust is solid as steel, and could walk without fear in total darkness (as if walking a picnic) (or jumping a cliff with a smile of trust). XD
