Haven't played Blue Archive, tried Genshin and am currently hooked on HSR. I have to disagree. You can say many things about HSR but not that it's soulless. It's clear from every detail that it's devs love child, despite being a gacha

You see a bit of the issue here of translations, as too much of the style and context of the author is lost. Obviously, translating literary texts is a difficult task as words have meanings. As I can't read CN, the novel remains sadly inaccessible to me as I suspect it sounds better in its native language.

CN each detail are perfected, despite being a "CN" (and the bias people have for them, even chineses are angry about capitalism not publishing good ones)

A lot of CN works get shafted for no other reason but bias. Even using HSR as an example, CN voiceover is phenomenal, VAs are amazing, but everyone is still gonna praise JP one as of it's second coming of jesus, only because it's JP. My only thought is: "their loss". Though the injustice is quite annoying ngl

As with all literary works, you must read the originals. Unfortunately. The English syntax isn't suited for this. The text is obviously butchered.

It's okay, Tsuru, I get it For a while now I read and consume mostly CN entertainment simply because I got bored of EN and JP. People don't realize how much they are missing, by overlooking CN stuff.

As for translations, yeah it can be difficult especially since CN is much more complex and nuanced than EN, but read enough works and you'll start getting a feeling of what means what. At worst, googling is always an option
