A pirate teaching computer? That's like a wolf guarding a sheep farm. It's a good thing the career change was in order.

Correction, a diabetic pirate teaching computer, cooking and baking.

Also, I'm a digital pirate even before diabetes took out my right eye.

Metal work, wood work, sewing, cooking, was some of my fondest memories of youth.

Metal and woodwork doesn't apply to our school, since we got no place and equipment to do it.

^ must be your teacher's fault it got boring. Any subject can be fun and interesting as long as the teacher can get along with his/her students.

I know a co-teacher of mine who made Math fun by cracking jokes, and our students learned a lot from my Social Studies substitute lessons because I gave them jokes that is related to the topics I was teaching back then.

My cool biology teacher made a poem about how babies come to be.

It was enlightening for a 13-year-old.

To make matters more interesting, she was actually moonlighting as a singer and won some big-shot competition back then.
