I like soundwave but agree with the rest, the backstory of them is even so much more interesting.

I like Soundwave more than Bumblebee because he can have conflict with Megatron's other commanders, but he just seems more like an accessory to Megatron than his own character with his own motives like the other 3 main decepticons.

Well loyalty is her main quality but I understand where you come from.

Also yes I'm aware of the loyalty aspect of Soundwave, hence the Bumblebee comparison.

In the tv show she had a female voice or are you talking about shockwave?

Oh voice, not voice actor. In that case, I'd say the pitch in Soundwave's voice was certainly higher than the other decepticons but it was probably made that way to go with the cassette tape aesthetic.

Everywhere I look people think the 4 main decepticons are dudes so let's just agree to disagree on this one.

If I were to call anyone of them genederless it would probably be Shockwave as he's hyperanalytical, devoid of emotions, and doesn't socialize. Pretty much just a robot.

These qualities have literally nothing to do with gender, I still see soundwave as the genderless one.
