Well the answer is obviously that a chicken doesn't really comes to exist. Evolution is a process that takes many generations and the argument should be about when does a species or part of a species become a new species? How many changes does it take?

Well, it was sometimes said in Documentaries on TV before : some Dinosaurs had feathers.so the chicken evolved from the dinosaur
