For a question, it sounds better, imo.

The No. 1 Player Is A Vietnamese!

As a statement, a Vietnamese works fine. As you reinforce it.

But as question? It doesn't sound natural to me to ask for someone specific, unless the question is rhetoric.

"The No. 1 Player Is Vietnamese?!"

This conveys more of a sense of confusion, which feels more appropriate.
